Administrative Assistant - Real Estate

Winthrop & Weinstine is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to work as a part of the team in our Real Estate Department. The responsibilities and qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
 
  • Provide administrative support for real estate team of attorneys, paralegals and legal administrative assistants as needed.
  • Draft and revise basic organizational documents.
  • Assist team with deal closings.
  • Review, organize, assemble and scan documents in preparation for closings.
  • Prepare, circulate and track signature pages and original documents for closings.
  • Create and help maintain closing checklists.
  • Handle closing book and other related post-closing matters.
  • Monitor inbox and electronically file client matters.
  • Open client files.
  • Make travel, restaurant and hotel reservations.
  • Process client invoices and attorney reimbursements.
  • Process document comparison.
  • Create attorney files and file documents as appropriate.
  • Provide quality, responsive customer service to clients and co-workers.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy; excellent grammar, proofreading and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and work well under pressure with deadlines.

  • Individuals must have a high school degree or equivalent and have one year experience working in an office or law firm setting preferred.
