Winthrop & Weinstine is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to work as a part of the team in our Real Estate Department. The responsibilities and qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support for real estate team of attorneys, paralegals and legal administrative assistants as needed.Draft and revise basic organizational documents.Assist team with deal closings.Review, organize, assemble and scan documents in preparation for closings.Prepare, circulate and track signature pages and original documents for closings.Create and help maintain closing checklists.Handle closing book and other related post-closing matters.Monitor inbox and electronically file client matters.Open client files.Make travel, restaurant and hotel reservations.Process client invoices and attorney reimbursements.Process document comparison.Create attorney files and file documents as appropriate.Provide quality, responsive customer service to clients and co-workers.Strong attention to detail, accuracy; excellent grammar, proofreading and communication skills.Ability to work within a team environment and work well under pressure with deadlines.
Individuals must have a high school degree or equivalent and have one year experience working in an office or law firm setting preferred.
